HCG Liquid

The term “hCG liquid” is how some might refer to human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) injections, also known as choriogonadotropin hCG.

Did you know that hCG is a hormone produced in the human body (thus, “human” in human chorionic gonadotropin) in both females and males?

HCG is also more widely known for being produced in the placenta of pregnant females.

In pregnant women, the hCG can thicken the wall of the uterus which then helps to maintain a healthy pregnancy.

Most of the the hCG used in medicine is derived from the urine of pregnant females.

Although this is not the hCG liquid that people are familiar with, it’s where the majority of hCG for medicine is harvested from.

In medicine, hCG can be used to treat female and male infertility.

It also is used in males help promote the production of testosterone.

And of course, it’s been used a successful weight loss “treatment” called The hCG Diet for almost 100 years!

Packaging

The hCG hormone is extracted from the urine of pregnant females, then processed in a lab where “raw” hCG is left in a dry, powdered format.

After processing, the dry powder is then bulk packaged in large drums, and sent to manufacturing facilities for final product packaging.

The most common type of  commercial packaging you’ll find in North America is in the form of a small glass vial.

Hcg is packaged for sale to the consumer in different vial sizes which contain different amounts of hCG, depending on what’s prescribed.

The most commonly prescribed amounts come in sizes of 2,000 IU, 3,000 IU, 5,000 IU and 10,000 IU.

Sometimes you can find a vial of 20,000 IU, but that’s pretty rare and typically compounded on request.

While stored and shipped in the vials, the hCG is typically still in a powder format.

When the hCG is ready to be used, a liquid diluent is added to dissolve the powder.

After the hcg is dissolved, it becomes liquid hCG (or hCG water) and is ready for use as an injection.

However, some brands (such as Hucog HP from Bharat Serums) are available to the consumer in a premixed, hcg liquid form.

Depending on what the hCG will be used for, more diluent or sterile water or bacteriostatic water may need to be added.

As well, one commonly prescribed product, called Ovidrel, comes premixed in syringes.

Each Ovidrel syringe contains a pre-set amount of hCG dissolved in the liquid used for injection.

HCG Injecting

You must be sure to always follow instructions for hCG injecting given to you by your medical provider.

In addition, read all product information that comes with your hCG.

Amounts or IU (International Units) will vary based on the reasons why the hCG was prescribed as well as the person it’s prescribed to.

The liquid hCG is removed from the vial and injected into the body through the use of insulin syringes.

There are markings on each syringe that represent the number of units being injected.

The most common method of injection is subcutaneous (below the skin, into the body fat) which is typically injected into the belly fat.

HCG can also be administered via intramuscular injection (directly into the muscle) typically the front of the leg or the buttocks.

Importing hCG

It’s important to note that most websites selling hCG will not disclose where the hCG is coming from.

Since the FDA changed rules in March of 2020, hCG has been more difficult to obtain in the USA.

Many websites switched to have hCG shipped direct from India to their new customers, without telling them.

If customs opens these packages upon entry into the United States, you won’t be getting your hCG and you probably won’t get a refund.

If you’re in Canada, it becomes even harder to import hCG. Lucky for you, we’ve already imported it!

Did you know that most packages coming from offshore are inspected by customs agents using large, x-ray machines?.

A large number of packages coming from The USA are inspected and hCG is not allowed to be imported.

Again, you won’t get your hCG and we’ve heard far too many stories of sellers telling their buyers “Too bad, that’s a risk you took.”

We only sell and ship USA Made hCG or imported hCG, but you’ll always know exaclty what you’re getting.

Our website will tell you which products are currently in stock and where they originate from.

If a product is showing on our website, that means it’s already in our warehouses in Canada and/or The USA.

If we have to ship cross border and your package is seized, we reship at no cost to you. You’ll just need to  show us proof in the form of a letter you’ll receive from customs.

To help put your mind at ease, your order always ships to you in discreet packaging.

HCG Liquid Storage

Once you have received your hCG, it’s very important to properly store it, or it will go bad!

Most of the packaged hCG you buy will have storage instructions on the outside of the package.

The most common hcg, the vials of powder, can be stored at room temperature before you mix it.

We suggest that you store your hCG  in a cool, dark place, out of sunlight at the very least.

Or you can find a cupboard or drawer where you keep rarely used things.

We’ve found it’s best to keep all the packaging together in a zip lock bag, including any mixing instructions, syringes, mixing water etc.

If you’ve purchased premixed, liquid hCG, you should be place in the refrigerator as soon as you get it..

Again, to be safe, you should always read storage instructions.

It’s possible the premixed can be stored at room temperature, but check the instrcytions.

If you refrigerate it, it will be good until the expiration date noted on the package.

So it’s probably a good idea to just put it in the fridge!

As for powdered hCG, it must be mixed and used before the expiration date on the package.

And as all hCG products once you’ve mixed it, it must be kept refrigerated.

Now, once mixed, the clock starts ticking on your purchase!

HCG manufacturers will typically state the product will remain stable and not lose its efficacy for 60 days in the fridge.

Mixing Water Info

You must always be sure to read the directions on the water you mix your hCG with.

Depending on the mixing water or liquid you use to mix your hCG, the shelf life of your hCG could drop down to 30 days!

For example, the manufacturer Hospira recommends that the water be kept for only 28-30 days.

This is not an issue for hCG liquids used for infertility treatment, as it typically will come in a “one time use” size.

But if you’re mixing 10,000 IU of hCG for the hCG diet and expect it to last 60 days, you may start to notice it’s not working after 45 of 50 days.

For the hCG diet, we highly recommend not mixing more than 5,000 IU in 5ml or water at a time.

We have not seen any loss of efficacy in 40 day usage, but that’s only using proper mixing and storage techniques..

But regardless, once you mix your hCG or open your premixed liquid hCG, it needs to be stored in the fridge!

If you forget to put it back in the fridge after giving yourself an injection, don’t stress!

And try not to make a habit of it leaving it out of the fridge!

If you’ve had it sitting in your fridge for a lengthy period of time and wonder if it’s still good, we suggest tossing it in the garbage!

But if you’re stubborn and cheap, look at it. If it’s cloudy or shows any sign of murkiness or anything other than clear liquid, toss it.

If it appears clear and you want to try it, the big test for efficacy then is if you get hunger pangs (if used for the hCG diet.)
